Your skills in therapeutic play and concern for others will help to promote the emotional and mental well-being of our pediatric patients.

Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel is a regional center for the care of infants, children and teens. We offer unrivaled pediatric expertise in a state-of-the-art facility designed exclusively for children. From routine care to the most complex cases, pediatricians and families trust us to provide the most advanced medical and surgical care for kids.

Child Life Specialists provide general social and emotional support to pediatric patients and their families during their inpatient hospital stay.  Specifically trained in the developmental needs of infants – adolescents, Child Life Specialists provide on-going opportunities for play, diversional activities, self-expression, and interaction with other hospitalized patients.
