Responsibilities

The Quality Program Manager serves as a crucial member of the hospital-based Quality Department, working in close collaboration with the multidisciplinary teams of the Quality Division. The Quality Program Manager reports directly to the Director of Quality. This role entails collaborative leadership and partnership in overseeing the organization's quality assurance and improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and overall healthcare outcomes. The Quality Program Manager drives continuous improvement efforts across the facility they work at and through the healthcare system by leading projects, analyzing data, implementing evidence-based practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This position is essential in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and championing a culture of quality and safety throughout the healthcare system.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master's degree preferred.

 

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare quality or patient safety, clinical quality improvement, LEAN process improvement, or related fields (required).

 

Skill:

  • Background in leading quality and safety within healthcare settings.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of quality and safety throughout the hospital and the healthcare system.
  • Comprehensive understanding of quality assurance and improvement principles and regulatory standards.
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis.
  • Experience in project management and leading multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficiency in implementing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and clinical effectiveness.
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives in healthcare quality.
  • Proven track record of applying Lean methodologies to drive process improvements and achieve organizational goals.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Licensure

Licensure/Certification: 

  • Certification in Healthcare Quality (e.g., CPHQ) or related certification within 1 year of hire (required).
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (preferred).

Pay Range

USD $47.95 - USD $71.45 /Hr.
