Legacy Silverton Medical Center serves the heart of the Willamette Valley with a wide mix of services, many not typically available in a community hospital: CT scan (computerized tomography), nuclear medicine, echocardiography, family birth center and much more.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting licensed nursing personnel in the provision of nursing care. Participates as a member of the health care team under the direction of a licensed nurse as defined by Standards and Authorized Duties for Certified Nursing Assistants (OAR 851-63-0010 - 0060, 0080, 0090).  Also assists with clerical functions, housekeeping, and patient transportation throughout the hospital.

Qualifications

Education: 

High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Skills/Abilities:

Basic familiarity with computers preferred.

Current CNA 2 (Acute Care) certificate required.

AHA BLS for Health Care Provider required.

Pay Range

USD $21.45 - USD $30.66 /Hr.

Working Conditions

Risk of exposure to blood and body fluids . Must be able to lift push pull 20 40 pounds. Risk of exposure to hazardous airborne pathogens particles Annual N95 HMR Full Face fit testing and E required .
