Remote Position (OR/WA Only)
This is a remote position – incumbents, who reside in Oregon or Washington only. There may be occasional situations that require work to be performed on-site at an assigned Legacy Health location. All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new hire paperwork. This position may require initial training and orientation to be site-based, before transitioning to the remote schedule.

The IS Applications Lead supports several non-clinical, business applications including Infor (Finance/Supply Chain), GHX and Strata. The role is focused on supporting IT solutions for business departments including Supply Chain, Accounting, and Finance, with both IT and business skills. Applicants should have great interpersonal and analytical skills, with a technical background.

Education:
Master’s degree preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted for educational requirements. Professional certifications preferred; may be required depending on the job.
Experience:
8+ years of systems analysis experience in relevant healthcare or IT area. Often has worked in diverse roles, industries and teams.
Has worked in a leadership capacity in a healthcare setting, and/or in a relevant operational area for the position (i.e., Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, etc.), and/or in an information technology role.
Skills:
Strategic understanding of key concepts, current developments, and trends in information technology and information systems management relevant to the position, including application configuration and layers, system integration, and database fundamentals.
Ability to lead and direct the daily work of others, and to monitor and mentor application analysts in improving their skills and practices. Ability to synthesize data from disparate sources to effectively distribute work, identify trends, and provide solutions.
Ability to work with the manager to identify performance issues and develop staff performance improvement plans when necessary.
Drives and effects change to ensure vendor best practices based on monitoring and gap analysis.
Excels at cross-team collaboration and is knowledgeable about the different functions served by teams within the division.
Demonstrated expertise in performing systematic, thorough analysis and problem solving, and in initiating client problem resolution.
Demonstrated expertise in all aspects of establishing, conceiving and description of systems, designs, flow charts, schedules, and requirements.
Strong interpersonal skills that promote effective working relationships with a wide range of people, including peers, clinicians, and senior leaders. Able to serve as a trusted advisor to IS and operational leaders and to positively influence strategic outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
