Overview

Remote Position (OR/WA Only)

 

This is a remote position – incumbents, who reside in Oregon or Washington only. There may be occasional situations that require work to be performed on-site at an assigned Legacy Health location.  All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new hire paperwork. This position may require initial training and orientation to be site-based, before transitioning to the remote schedule.

This Senior Supply Chain Systems Analyst role will be dedicated to informing pharmacy business decisions.Develops and uses business informatics to derive information to inform supply chain business decisions and activities. Manages the development of complex data modeling tools and reports needed for data mining, analysis, and decision-making. Supports supply chain-related databases and systems to promote standardization, efficiencies and compliance to regulations and policies. Provides expertise in the department’s system requirements and applications for the effective use of financial, operational and clinical distributive components. Continuously participates in purchasing strategies that advocate Lean Management and standard work protocols.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline and/or the equivalent combination of education and professionally related experience required.

 

Experience:

Minimum of four years of relevant experience in advanced data collection and analysis,

developing, utilizing, maintaining, assessing, and overseeing complex application processes and systems, including experience in supply chain, distribution, warehouse or logistics sectors in a healthcare setting preferred. Eight years relevant experience desired. Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) system preferred.

 

Knowledge/Skills:

Thorough comprehension of current developments and trends in business informatics.

Proven data retrieval, report writing and visualization skills.

Demonstrated system problem solving, research, documentation, and analytical skills.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Proven ability to use professional judgment, prioritize responsibilities/workload, meet deadlines and produce an accurate work product.

Proven capacity to work with limited supervision.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills that encourage effective working relationships.

Demonstrated ability to apply chain-of-command communication protocols.

Solid customer-support aptitude utilizing effective verbal and written communication skills.
