This is a hybrid-remote position - incumbents, who reside in Oregon or Washington only, may work at an assigned Legacy Health location, and other days may work remotely at home, on the road or in a satellite location for the remainder of their workweek.  

All new hires are required to come to a designated Legacy Health office location in Portland, Oregon prior to their start date for a new hire health assessment and to complete new hire paperwork. This position may require initial training and orientation to be site-based, before transitioning to the hybrid schedule.

The Accounts Payable Specialist I is responsible for processing transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment of goods and services purchased by Legacy Health. Ensures system-wide compliance with approved supply chain and contracting work processes. Facilitates both electronic and hard copy document retention management.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent required. Prefer prior coursework in Accounting.

Experience: Experience with Lawson Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system or other Healthcare ERP system, preferred.

Skills: Mastery of on-line computer skills and 10-key by touch. Ability to navigate electronic systems, applicable to job functions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with both internal and external customers. Solid problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to organize one’s own workload and to regularly meet specified deadlines.
