Legacy Silverton Medical Center serves the heart of the Willamette Valley with a wide mix of services, many not typically available in a community hospital: CT scan (computerized tomography), nuclear medicine, echocardiography, family birth center and much more.
Performs nuclear medicine procedures according to physician's orders, utilizing knowledge and judgment in regards to radionuclide administration, imaging technique, and patient treatment.
Education:
Graduate of approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or Radiologic Technology
program with Nuclear Medicine Specialty is required.
Experience:
One year experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
Skills:
Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or registration in Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N) required. Current state license in Nuclear Medicine required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Oregon. AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
