Our Transplant program performs 90 – 100 transplants per year and leads the region in living donor transplant support. The transplant Nephrologist provides the full range of transplant medical care, including primary immunosuppression and immediate post-transplant care. From careful pre-transplant monitoring to post-surgical care, Legacy's strong commitment to continuous quality improvement creates excellent outcomes for transplant patients.

Since its start, Legacy Transplant Services has been at the forefront of kidney transplantation including the first HIV transplant in Oregon and we are home to the first laparoscopic kidney donation in Oregon. At Legacy we care for all patients and have strong supports for caring for complex patients.

Continuing to lead in living donation and the addition of outreach are important areas of focus for our program. The size and structure of our transplant program create an ideal opportunity for collaboration with colleagues and innovative initiatives.
