Legacy Good Samaritan Medical Center in Northwest Portland is known for its specialty programs and clinical excellence. Responsibilities

The Imaging Coordinator coordinates department functions to allow services to be delivered expediently and efficiently through effective organization of staff and workflow.  Maintains knowledge of department procedures in order to provide assistance throughout the patient care continuum.  Proficient in the field of MRI. Direct supervision is provided by the Supervisor/Manager of the department.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of certified Radiologic Technology School and program required.

 

Experience:

Minimum of one year of experience in imaging and/or other clinical modality required, three years preferred. One year in a supervisory or coordinator role preferred.

Supervisory course work and working knowledge of CQI principals preferred.

Medical terminology preferred.

Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.

Licensure

Certification/Licensure:

National registration in Radiography and MRI (ARRT-R, MR) required.  Current state license in Magnetic Resonance required for all employees who perform this job in the state of Oregon.

 

BLS/CPR Certification:  Personnel providing direct care in patient care and diagnostic areas are required to acquire and maintain BLS/CPR certification.

Pay Range

USD $51.13 - USD $73.12 /Hr.
