Other objectives include: o Offer opportunities for leadership, project management, and shadowing in clinical areas to help nurture interests and strengthen knowledge. o Enhance written and oral communication skills by providing opportunities for presentations and medication use evaluations. o Provide staffing experience in the inpatient setting with a focus on operations (e.g. IV admixture; compounding; triaging medication needs for hospitalized patients; and management of automatic dispensing cabinets on the units). Staffing expectations include every other weekend working technician shifts as well as working over holiday and summer breaks, (TBD) o Provide staffing experience in transitions of care, including medication history evaluations and medication counseling depending on site need.   Position to start May 2024.
